THE REDEEMED COLLEGE OF MISSIONS, FCT 4 (Training To Serve)

The Redeemed College of Missions (RCM) is the missionary training arm of the RCCG. The Tent-making department of RCM is what we are introducing to you. In the Tentmaking department, we will learn to do missions like Paul who was doing missions and making tents so that he will not be a burden to anyone. The duration of the course varies, depending on the seriousness of the students. It is usually between 4 months and 1 year.

CHURCH PLANTING

In RECSOM TENT, we have been interested in planting Churches among the unreached i.e. places where there are no Churches at all and places that have not been reached with the gospel. When we locate those places, we pray and then approach the rulers of those communities for permission to first show them love through:

- Free Medical Missions (on Saturday mid-day)
- Crusade with Drama Mission/Film show (on Saturday evening)

- The converts of the crusade will be the first Church planted the next morning (Sunday morning). We start meeting under a tree. We will then approach the ruler of the communities again for land to plant/build a Church, and Mission house subsequently.
